Hello everyone! I hope that you’ve had a wonderful Easter, and you’re finishing off the last of your Cadbury chocolate eggs and solid chocolate bunnies. As for me, I’ve been busily writing on my next projects. Recently, I sent a newsletter out to my loyal registered newsletter followers to let them in on some sneak-peek information related to my latest novel. Remember? It’s the modern-day urban fantasy series that I started earlier this year.
Of course, it’s the same newsletter that alluded to the fact that none of my upcoming projects are Sunset Vampire-related. You read the newsletter, right?
You didn’t receive it?
Well, you’d better move your cursor to the right side of my website and enter right now! Surely you’d like to be the first person in your neighborhood to receive the “next” sneak-peek information on Jaz’s writing endeavors. I know it, in fact!
Meanwhile, I’ve seen a relatively good vampire film that I rented via Netflix. It’s called Stake Land, and it’s dark and grisly. It’s a throwback to the days when vampires were evil creatures who were out to drink your blood and take your life against your will. Let me assure you, these creatures are visceral as all get-out. The acting is actually quite good, and the storyline is somewhat compelling. The vampire “virus” goes worldwide, and humanity (in its glory and its very worst) attempts to reestablish pockets of control and structure, though arguably, not always in the most benevolent manner. At any rate, I liked it, and I highly recommend it to vampire fans out there.
Oh, and recently I’ve been approached by some wonderful fans and book bloggers in Romania! A big shout out to Krisz at Walking on Letters blog site (http://walking-on-letters.blogspot.com ), Cristina Otel, Cristina / Mistress Kat at http://vicky-onsummer.blogspot.com, and Julia at http://raftul-cartilor-vampiresti.blogspot.com !
Well, I just wanted to stop by and say hello to everyone. I hope that all is well with you, and I appreciate your continued support and interest in my work!
